Chekhov’s plays explore life’s search for meaning, the inevitability of change, and the complexities of human relationships. They are rich with themes of love, longing, and jealousy, often weaving love triangles that reveal how matters of the heart can lead to chaos. His work shows how finding true love is hard, keeping it is even harder, and unrequited love can ruin lives. ‘3 Story Walk-up’ attempts to improvise an original Chekhov story through a modern lens.
